For most of us the most cost effective wheel that could take a beating jumping off the bus stop or sunset at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, or the multiple 2x offs while learning the limits of a new tire while still retaining very good radial run out came down to the TC105N from WedSport. It is no surprise that all of the Speed Freaks USA group of cars Piloted by Edwin, Matt, Anish, and so on utilized the TC105N through the end of 2014... and then we found that there was something lacking. We needed wider wheels as we discovered the input necessary at the steering wheel with a 255 stretched at 10" was much less than expected with the new compound of tires available to us. We were moving faster with 17x10s, and so we all had moved on to 17x10 by 2014.. and thus the development of a new range of rim widths began at WedsSport to fill the new requirements- The target audience of which are grassroot and club racers.
As tire technology become increasingly better on grip, strength and rigidity is more important than ever. Weds have shown their commitment to the N. American market by collaborating with Weds Wheels North America and develop these new 17" wide SA72R wide sizes. WedsSport engineers have carefully design the 17" 72R with strength, rigidity, brake clearance and price in mind, making these wheels affordable without sacrificing quality.

* Lug Hole Sizes are drilled to accommodate M14 Lug Size. This will help with some domestic vehicles using M14 as well M12.
* Weight displayed is close approximation. Weight will change slightly depending on offset. Higher offset generally have less the weight.
* 17 X 9.0J is designed to clear factory - FRS/BRZ, WRX 5-100 model, 2015 WRX, Scion TC, S2000, MX5, Civic, Mustang.
* 17 X 9.5J +32 is designed to clear factory - Evo 8/9 factory Brembo Brake system.
* 17 X 9.5J +47 is designed to clear Impreza STI factory Brembo brake system.
* 17 X 10.0 +55 is designed to clear factory S2000 brake system.
* 17 X 10.5J +44 is specifically designed for Supra, RX7, 300ZX, Mustang rear using slick tires for bracket racing.
Customers are encouraged to provide their brake templates for us to check clearance with the wheel of choice!
