When changing brake pads, a few squeezes of the Essex Caliper Spreader Tool V2 will quickly and completely press your caliper pistons back into their bores, making space for your new brake pads to drop right in.
Updated V2 model has a revised mechanism and plate design, allowing more peak force during advancement
Thicker end plates measuring 120mm wide by 90mm deep by 9.5mm thick (4.72" x 3.54" x 0.375"), perfect for use in six and four piston AP Racing brake calipers
Plate stiffness improved over previous model by 225% to help mitigate deflection under load
360-degree rotating plates allow you to optimize the orientation for maximum clearance
Knurled pull knob added behind the release lever to aid in plate retraction and removal
Versatile- works with many other aftermarket caliper brands and OEM calipers of various types (both single piston and fix piston opposed)
